These smiling faces are thanks to you! Over the past year, you helped provide 14,800 meals to school children, through the School Food Program. And these meals do so much more than fill hungry bellies…
When children have healthy meals at school, they are more likely to attend class, and to stay in school. With full bellies, they have the energy to focus and engage in class, which means they are more likely to graduate. And with an education, these children can find better jobs, earn stable incomes, and begin to break the cycle of poverty they were born into.
It’s a powerful ripple effect, and it begins with a meal, and you! Thank you for giving these children the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
You’re inspiring a new generation of leaders and protectors
Rainforest communities depend on the forests around them for their way of life. They are the people most affected when forests are destroyed, and the people best placed to protect them.
Thanks to your generosity, young students have the opportunity to study at university, and gain the skills they need to defend their forests. In the past year, you helped fund 16 Orangutan Caring Scholarships, supporting students to become passionate conservation leaders.

You’re helping families earn a living, without harming the forest
Many families are forced into damaging work, like illegal logging and hunting, simply to survive.
But with your help, these families now have better, safer, and more sustainable work opportunities. Over the past year, your support reached 27,850 people, helping them to learn new ways to earn an income, while caring for the forest.
From growing healthy vegetables at home to learning sustainable farming and forest-friendly skills, you are helping families improve their lives, without destroying the environment they depend on.
